Ederlezi

These are some of my favorite youtube videos because they're from when I first saw Beirut back in October 2006 at Great American Music Hall. They were still a new band on their first tour and had a lot of energy (I got to meet Zach Condon a year or so later and he said this was one of the best shows they ever played). The first video is the amazing finale playing Siki Siki Baba (I can actually spot myself in the crowd believe it or not) and the second video is a Goran Bregovic cover and I loved it then and I love love love it now. Still one of the most memorable live shows I've seen thus far
